Frequently asked questions

How does Ecomely work?

You add your recurring expenses once (name, amount, frequency, first due date). Ecomely automatically calculates every due date and shows you what's already past, what's still due, and what's coming next.

Do I need to connect my bank?

No, never. Ecomely never connects to any bank account and never asks for Open Banking access. It's a deliberate choice.

How does Ecomely know a payment went through?

Ecomely doesn't verify it with your bank: a due date that has passed is simply considered settled. If a payment was actually rejected, you flag it in one tap.

What happens if I mark a payment as rejected?

Ecomely automatically creates (or updates) a debt for the relevant creditor, for the exact amount of the payment. You can undo this at any time.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, at any time, in one click from your settings. Access to paid features is blocked immediately, but your data is kept and no further payment will be taken.

Is my data sold or used for advertising?

No. Ecomely never sells any data and never shows advertising. Your expenses and debts are only ever used to show you your own situation.

How do I install Ecomely on my phone?

On iPhone: tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen". On Android: an "Install" button appears automatically whenever your browser supports it. See the full guide.
